Promises For The Sick Regarding Restoration of Health

Please claim the following promises; Trust in God’s methods for recovery of disease, step out in faith and see the Lord’s miraculous healing power.  Praise God!!!

“…The principles of health reform  brought into the life of the patient, the use of nature's remedies, and the cooperation of divine agencies in behalf of the suffering, will bring success.” {LLM 545.2} 

“…When drugs are thrown aside, when fermented liquor of all kinds is discarded, when God's remedies--sunshine, pure air, water, and good food--are used, there will be…a far greater number of cures.” {16MR 247.1} 

“…THE MOST DIFFICULT CASES are best and most successfully managed by nature's own resources…” {16MR 288.1}

“Pure air, sunlight, abstemiousness, rest, exercise, proper diet, the use of water, trust in divine power--these are the true remedies…” (MH 127.2)

“…Those who persevere in obedience to her laws will reap the reward in health of body and health of mind.” (MH 127.3)

“The use of water to help the sick, plenty of exercise, education as to how to breathe, education as to purity of habits, would throw drugs in the shade in their own place, where they naturally belong.” {20MR 374.4}  

“Not a poisonous drug should be used. When you have a case that does not respond to the use of simple remedies, take it to the Lord in prayer. Talk to Him as the only one who can help.  Quote simple scripture with tenderness and faith...”  {PC 43.1}

 “Before there were any sanitariums among us, my husband and I began work in medical missionary lines. We would bring to our house cases that had been given up by the physicians to die. When we knew not what to do for them. We would pray to God most earnestly, and he always sent his blessing.

He is the mighty Healer, and He worked with us. We never had time or opportunity to take a medical course, but we had success as we moved out in the fear of God and sought him for wisdom at every step. This gave us courage in the Lord.” {WM 325.3}

“GOD HAS PERMITTED THE LIGHT OF HEALTH REFORM TO SHINE UPON US in these last days, that by walking in the light we may escape many of the dangers to which we shall be exposed...”  {CTBH 75.1/3T 561.1}

“If we neglect to do that which is within the reach of nearly every family, and ask the Lord to relieve pain when we are too indolent to make use of these remedies within our power, it is simply presumption…” {MM 230.3}
