Menstrual Cramps












1: Hot & Cold to the cramping area. (5 minutes hot, 1 minute cold...do 3 rotations of this at one time/ every 3 to 4 hours as needed)

2: Drinking Red Raspberry Tea 3 x day has been known to help. Pour 8 oz. of boiling water over 2 tsp. of the herb.  Steep x 20 minutes, strain and drink...Do this 3 x day.

3: A Hops Poultice to the cramping area.

4: Drink several cups of water. (may add a ½ tsp. of cayenne pepper to help unclot the blood...She can drink this every 3-4 hours)

5: 2 Tablespoons of Blackstrap Molasses may help due to Magnesium content.

6: Bathing in warm water x 20 minutes helps tremendously.

7: Have the person cramping wear leggings, socks, long sleeves, etc.  No body part should be exposed except for our face and hands. Exposure of the Extremities is one of the main causes of female problems, including menstrual cramping.

8. Get 5 towels and fold each one into a square.


  • Then get 2 dish towels and fold then roll and ring out of hot water and place ONE at a time in the microwave for 5 minutes (put 1 dry towel over the lower stomach/pelvic area
  • With tongs, grab the hot towel from the microwave and put on top of the dry towel and cover with the other half of the dry towel to help keep heat in
  • Have the other dish towel in the microwave while doing this
  • In between one hot and the other, rub an ice rag on the stomach before putting the next hot treatment
  • Each hot treatment is for 5 minutes and then the ice cold towel being rubbed/patted over the area is just for a few seconds. DO THIS 5 TIMES.

Give her 1 tsp. cayenne pepper in 1 cup warm water and have her drink this...

This treatment works wonders. A friend did this for her daughter's boyfriend's daughter and she was up and about right after the treatment...before the treatment, she was bed bound.

NEED TO GET TO THE ROOT OF THE PROBLEM: WHAT CAUSES CRAMPING:

1. The eating of flesh food. (CD 386.2/HL 104.1)

2. Lack of Exercise – “Thousands of women are today suffering from a painful relaxation of the system for want of vigorous physical exercise. They are rusting out their lives in inaction...” {HR, February 1, 1877 par. 9}

3. Improper Dress {HL 64.4} “... Satan invented the fashions which leave the limbs exposed...” (2T 531.3)

BE SURE THEY FOLLOW ALL THE LAWS OF HEALTH:
Proper Nutrition; Exercise Outdoors; Water; Sunshine; Temperance; Fresh Air Every Day; Rest; Trust In God; Dress; Posture; Right Attitude, etc.

NO TIGHT CLOTHING AROUND THE WAIST
