Diseases Of The Lungs & Their Treatment

We have come to a time when EVERY MEMBER of the church should take hold of medical missionary work...”  (7T 62.1)

LEARN HOW TO COMBAT DISEASE:
GATHER up all the KNOWLEDGE possible that will help to combat disease...”
  {MM 320.2-.3}

It is the duty of every person to BECOME INTELLIGENT in regard to disease and its causes…”  {HL 19.5}

“…Have a practical knowledge of the causes of disease, andUNDERSTAND HOW to give simple treatments, that…may relieve the suffering ones…”  {ChS 134.2}

It is essential both to understand the principles involved in the treatment of the sick and to have a practical training …” (MH 127.2)

As religious aggression subverts the liberties of our nation, those who would stand for freedom of conscience will be placed in unfavorable positions. For their own sake, they should, while they have opportunity, BECOME INTELLIGENT IN REGARD TO DISEASE, ITS CAUSES, PREVENTION, AND CURE...”  (CH 506.1)

WHAT IS THE DEFINITION OF DISEASE?

“…Disease is an effort of nature to free the system from conditions that result from a violation of the laws of health.”  (MH 127.1)    See: Proverbs 26:2

BIBLE:

  • 3 John 2 – Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and BE IN HEALTH, even as thy soul prospereth.”
  • Jeremiah 30:17 – For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD...”
  • Psalms 103:3 – Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
  • Genesis 18:14 – Is anything too hard for the Lord?”

God wants to heal us of ALL OUR DISEASES, including Diseases of the Liver.  And today, some doctors will tell you that these diseases can in fact now be reversed/cured.

TEACHING FROM 3 SOURCES:

  • The Bible
  • The SOP
  • Good Scientific Material giving you the most advanced teaching, the most aggressive teaching in terms of health, healing and restoration.

MEDICAL SCIENCE:

http://www.webmd.com/lung/picture-of-the-lungs#1

  • The lungs are a pair of spongy, air-filled organs located on either side of the chest (thorax)
  • The trachea (windpipe) conducts inhaled air into the lungs through its tubular branches, called bronchi
  • The bronchi then divide into smaller and smaller branches (bronchioles), finally becoming microscopic
  • The bronchioles eventually end in clusters of microscopic air sacs called alveoli
  • In the alveoli, oxygen from the air is absorbed into the blood
  • Carbon dioxide, a waste product of metabolism, travels from the blood to the alveoli, where it can be exhaled
  • Between the alveoli is a thin layer of cells called the interstitium, which contains blood vessels and cells that help support the alveoli.
  • The lungs are covered by a thin tissue layer called the pleura
  • The same kind of thin tissue lines the inside of the chest cavity -- also called pleura
  • A thin layer of fluid acts as a lubricant allowing the lungs to slip smoothly as they expand and contract with each breath

NATURAL REMEDIES FOR THE LUNGS:

Water Treatments for the Lungs:

In health and in sickness, pure water is one of heaven’s choicest blessings. Its proper use promotes healththe external application of water is one of the easiest and most satisfactory ways of regulating the circulation of the blood…”  {MH 237.1}

Water treatments are not appreciated as they should be, and to apply them skillfully requires work that many are…unwilling to perform. But none should feel excused for ignorance or indifference on this subject. There are many ways in which water can be applied to relieve pain and check disease. All should become intelligent in its use in simple home treatments. Mothers, especially, should know how to care for their families in both health and sickness.”  {MH 237.2}

What power there is in water! He improved rapidly…”  {GH October 1, 1899, par. 6}

HOW TO DO WATER TREATMENTS AND HOW LONG TO APPLY EACH ONE by: DR. Merritt G. KELLOGG

Dr. Merritt Kellogg talked about in a good light by Sister White {Needs, July 4, 1903 par. 21}

https://collections.nlm.nih.gov/bookviewer?PID=nlm:nlmuid-64220470R-bk

GO TO PAGES 9-10 at the above link to see all the water treatments. Then go to the corresponding page # for the treatment you want to learn and know.

1. 10 MINUTES HOT FOMENTATION ON BOTH THE CHEST AND BACK AREA OVER THE LUNGS

  • Doing 4 rotations of this, for a total of 40 minutes
  • Drying the back and chest area well when finished
  • You may do this 2-3 x day, but to be honest, all 4 people I have worked with that had pneumonia,
  • Everyone’s pneumonia was gone the next day in conjunction with doing the following as well
  • But continue to do this until the person you work on no longer has Pneumonia

Note:  ABSOLUTELY NO COLD APPLICATIONS TO THE LUNGS!!!

“…The cold water or ice water to the lungs was diverting the blood from limbs and body to meet the cold application, and another hemorrhage would certainly appear soon…” {20MR 278.6}

2. GIVE COUGH REMEDY

Mix ½ c. pure honey (not the one in a local store; not even Whole Foods or Costco; only Trader Joe’s, a

Farmer’s Market, or Honey Farm) with 4 drops ingestible Eucalyptus Oil

4. MIX ¼ CUP OLIVE OIL WITH 3 DROPS EACH OF EUCALYPTUS AND PEPPERMINT OIL

Rub over chest and back area over lungs and on bottom of feet

Be sure to put socks on afterwards

Do this 2 x day/morning and evening until lung condition is gone

5. IF THEY HAVE A DIFFICULT TIME BREATHING, INTO 1 ½ INCHES OF WATER, PUT 1 FULL DROPPERFUL OF LOBELIA TINCTURE + 2 FULL DROPPERFULS OF MULLEIN TINCTURE, STIR AND DRINK

This normally helps the person breathe well instantly

You have taken into your stomachs articles which it is impossible to convert into good blood. This has laid a heavy tax on the liver, for the reason that the digestive organs are deranged. You both have diseased livers. The health reform would be a great benefit to you both, if you would strictly carry it outbe assured that God will not work a miracle to save you from the result of your own course of action…”  {CD 123.4}

WHAT TO DO FOR:
